Overview

The map of Hex Survival is composed of various hexagonal tile types, each representing a different environment or facility.

Tile Types

Base

  • Description: The starting hub for all survivors.
  • Gameplay: Safe zone for storage, bank management, and Base Constructions. No scavenging possible.

Farm Facility

  • Description: A large-scale agricultural complex.
  • Strategic Importance: The primary source of food. 90% chance for Rations and 45% chance for Salad.
  • Loot Profile: Also contains Raw Timber (25%) and Scrap Metal (22%).

Hidden Vault

  • Description: A rare, fortified pre-collapse bunker.
  • Strategic Importance: The only source for Ancient Relics (100% chance).
  • Loot Profile: High concentration of tech: Research Material (35%), Circuit Boards (25%), and Chemical Sludge (20%).

Oasis

  • Description: A rare fertile area with water.
  • Strategic Importance: Primary source of Clean Water (90% chance). Also contains Glowing Mushrooms (35%).

Electronic Lab

  • Description: A specialized facility for advanced tech.
  • Strategic Importance: Primary source for Circuit Boards (75%), Research Material (70%), and Battery (60%).

Industrial

  • Description: A manufacturing and processing complex.
  • Strategic Importance: Primary source for Chemical Sludge (70%) and Copper Wiring (45%). Required for producing Alloy Plates and Logic Cores.

Ruined City

  • Description: Dense urban environment.
  • Strategic Importance: Primary source for Scrap Metal (85%). High chance for junk items like Broken Radios and Binoculars.

Forest

  • Description: Wooded area.
  • Strategic Importance: Primary source for Raw Timber (80%) and Glowing Mushrooms (55%).

Mountain

  • Description: Excavated terrain.
  • Strategic Importance: Primary source for Hardened Stone (90%).

Desert

  • Description: Barren terrain. High chance for Hardened Stone (70%) and Raw Timber (20%).

Discovery

  • Movement-Based: Tiles are revealed as players traverse the map.
  • Watchtower Prerequisite: Headings for high-value facilities (Relays, Vaults) are hidden until the Watchtower is constructed at Base.
