Interaction Costs

Performing basic inventory tasks is free:

  • Dropping/Using: Consumes 0 AP.
  • Consuming: Consumes 0 AP.
  • Right-Click: “Use” or consume the item (e.g., drink water, use a stim).
  • Left-Click (or Click): “Drop” the item onto the ground at the current hex.

Item Types: Consumables

Consumables are used to manage the player’s status bars.

  • Fresh Drinking Water: Reduces “Thirsty” when consumed.
  • Rations: Likely reduces “Hunger” (to be confirmed).

Item States

Some items have specific states that affect their utility:

  • Empty vs. Functional: Some items (e.g., Lamp, Gasoline Generator) require specific inputs to become functional.
